Metal Framing
Download General PDF

The studs are made through a cold layering process using G-60 galvanized steel. Its design allows it to form light-weight structures that resist normal work loads for wall division like cabinets, mirrors, frames, Kitchen cabinets, etc.

We also have a line of Perfirey´s painted metal studs, made with G-60 galvanized steel that are covered with a layer of special additives and pigments for extra protection and resistance against the environment.
Metal Studs
Are the principal elements to form a light-weigh structure. These are normally used in a vertical position.
Each Metal Stud is pre-punched at regular intervals specifically designed to facilitate electrical and hydraulic installation (wiring, plumbing, etc.).

Angle wall
This accessory is designed to be placed in the areas where the soffit of the wall is going to go. Its angle holds the soffit solidly against the walls, and sometimes it works as an auxiliary stud for some difficult walls. This metal stud is made according to the norms and regulations of ASTM – C1047.

“J” Trim
Perfirey´s J-trim has been designed to provide maximum protection to drywall terminations and edges. J-Trims are normally, though not necessarily, placed horizontally at the lower part of the wall, separated 5mm from the ground to avoid contact with water in case of a spill. Made with caliber 26 galvanized steel under ASTM – C1047 standards.

Metal Resilient Channel
Panel Rey´s Resilient Channel is fabricated with 25 GA galvanized steel to diminish sound transmission. Developed as one of the most efficient low cost method to reduce the effect of sound waves between gypsum drywall and the metal stud. Sound reduction of approximately 50% can be achieved in conjunction with Panel Rey´s gypsum board products.
