Panel Rey, the leading manufacturer of drywall gypsum and cement board in Mexico, continues to grow and expand. A new gypsum drywall plant in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua will be operational in the last quarter of 2016.

The new plant, equipped with the highest technology, will have the capacity of 480 million square feet. The facility will supply the regions Northwest of Mexico and Southeast of the US markets. It will employ over 150 people.

The facility will manufacture all types of gypsum drywall including Regular, Light Rey, Fire Rey, Water Rey, Exterior Rey, Mold Rey, Ceiling Rey, Flex Rey, and Glass Rey.

With its own quarry with railway access located 44 miles away from the plant and 19 miles from the El Paso, Texas border, Panel Rey will continue its tradition of manufacturing 100% natural gypsum drywall.

Ciudad Juarez is a strategic logistics point with access to many destinations via rail that allow us to offer competitive prices in Mexico and the US.

This will be Panel Rey’s fifth plant in Mexico and the third one producing gypsum drywall. The other manufacturing facilities are located in San Luis Potosi, El Carmen, Nuevo Leon, Mexicali, Tlalnepantla, Bogota and Cartagena.
